I’ve realize I’ve been caught up in the work and neglected to blog, of which I’ve derisively been reminded is a marketing faux pas for a professional such as myself. Mea culpa! The standoff ends now.
The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of creating some really exciting promotional material for our Eckrich, Smithfield and Nathan’s clients, to include custom consumer posters, special event coupons, “big checks” for presentation to sweepstakes winners, entry box headers, and a military trade magazine ad for Smithfield’s top three corporate priority brands that showcases their long-term dedication to supporting the military customer.
The Eckrich brand has donated over $2 MILLION to Operation Homefront in the past five years. Now that’s cause marketing at its finest!
More store-level and grassroots promotions are in the works for this client – namely, the Eckrich, Nathan’s and Smithfield Mobile Tours that will kick off this summer at various East Coast Commissaries. As soon as the event details are coordinated and the creative design complete, I will be sure to share with you!
It’s truly gratifying to partner with such a great client and to be able to deliver its corporate initiatives and communicate them in such a way that resonates and encourages the military shopper to stock up on tasty products and help give back to its community in the process.
